Instructions:
Define and explain the significance of four of the terms listed below to the study of work
and labour issues. Each answer must be at least two full paragraphs (250 words total)
and consist of two parts:
 a definition of the term;
 an explanation of why the term is significant to the issues we examined in the
course.
You must use at least two examples from specific course materials in each answer.
Remember: The goal is to demonstrate your knowledge of our lectures, readings, films,
discussions, and guest speakers, so you must define and explain the term in relation to how
we understood and used it in LABR 1260.

using at least two specific course materials per point;
 a concluding paragraph.
